Date Taken25 July, 2013DescriptionThis house was named "Huon" and was built for Leoline Amy Snowdon, the widow of Walter Sewell Snowdon (sometimes Snowden) (SERN 2475) who died in the First World War. This house was built by the Voluntary Workers Association.
The name "Huon" does not have a WWI association but was the name given to their former home in Mellor Street. Leoline came from Tasmania.
