Description
DescriptionMuriel Mackenzie discusses her childhood experiences as a young English migrant in the 1920s. She explores the impact of The Depression on her family, her search for work and time as a trainee at Gladesville Hospital and the impact of WWII on the behaviour of young women. She also recalls her social life and the circumstances surrounding her marriage up until her widowhood in the early 1950s
