(7) Resigned. At Council meeting of 3 June 1910 ‘Ald Kirk-White tendered his resignation as an alderman for West Ward’. There had been issues raised at the Special meeting of 4 February 1910 as to Kirke White’s eligibility Cumberland Argus 12 February 1910 p4. Also at meeting of 25 February 1910 ‘Mr. Ald. Anderson called attention to the presence of Mr. Ald Kirke White alledging that he had forfeited his seat by residing outside the district and having sold his property, Ald. Anderson leaving the table as a protest.’ Replaced at election of 25 June 1910 by Charles Robert Summerhayes
