NotesThe extant marble faces are not original. In December 1965 Council placed an order with a local stonemason, Tyrrell's of Quarry Road "to remove existing marble panels; replace with 2 new carrara marble panels; sizes as original. To cut, drill & lead 305 letters on marble panels; inscription to be set as original'.
