Ryde Town Hall

Ryde’s first purpose-built Town Hall opened in 1903 on the corner of Tucker Street and Parkes Street, now Blaxland Road. As Ryde continued to grow, an additional municipal building was constructed beside the original Town Hall in 1922. The site continued to serve as the centre of Ryde’s municipal administration until the opening of the new Ryde Civic Centre in 1964.
