Harry Smith of Curzon Hall began building the Hampton Court Tourist Residental at the corner of Pope Street and Lane Cove Road around 1909. Smith died in 1913 and the building was never completed. .|The writing on bottom left of photo is as follows: "The Ryde Folly".
