City of Ryde’s beloved Granny Smith Festival celebrated its 40th anniversary on Saturday 18 October 2025 with more than an estimated 80,000 people in attendance.
The festival featured crowd favourites including amusement rides, over 200 market stalls, food trucks, live performances by 2024 Australian Idol winner Dylan Wright and the characters from Kangaroo Beach as well as an array of local performers, before ending on a high note with a spectacular fireworks display.
