Description
As a child, Gladys lived at 2 Tucker Street, Ryde. Eventually after her marriage to Herb, she returned to the area, living for 54 years in the one house in Cox's Road, North Ryde. The interviewer noted that "the enthusiasm of Gladys when she speaks of Ryde and North Ryde is unsurpassed".
