Three doors stand before you. They offer a choice: step through and embrace an uncertain future where there can be no return, or remain in the valley where time stands still. In a world where waste and renewal intertwine, will you move forward, reshaping what had been left behind, or linger in endless contemplation of what could be?

The work "Less" is an embodiment of my ethos of repurposing ostensibly waste materials into something quirky and original. The title itself represents the modern economic paradigm of growth for growths sake, endless consumption for endless wants, an insatiable construct incompatible with either sustainability or happiness. "Less" encompasses a crutch (perhaps a metaphor for the illusion of consumption equating to happiness) acting as the carcass of a fish (Marlin) as well as idiosyncratic toys, cutlery, fishing/sport gear, costume jewelry, etc. Moreover the belly of the fish contains a plethora of those unnatural objects, alluding to the pollution of the food chain.
