Description
James Jenkins relates details of his childhood and life as a young adult in "The Cottage" at Massey Street Gladesville, from 1932 to the post-war years. He mentions his achievements in sport, at school, at work and his social activities, especially in the 1930s. He also includes aspects of both war service and post-war life such as buying a house and memberships on various committees, including his involvement in Gladesville RSL and on school sporting Associations.
