DescriptionKeith Ross describes his first impressions of Ryde in the 1940s, followed by his marriage and the building of their first home in Clarke Street, West Ryde. He also discusses aspects of his career as a copyholder, then proofreader, then journalist. He mentions sone of the identities of left-wing politics of the 1930s and 1940s and the key events of the time. There is reference to some other details of his life such as his participation in cricket
