Description
Bert Goodchild recalls his childhood on his parents' dairy farm in the 1930s and 1940s, particularly his own duties from the age of four until he began to work for his father at the age of 13. He describes dairying in the area, the "milk wars" and changes in the industry within the Ryde area.
This interview is complimentary to that of his sister Joan Brown nee Goodchild
