Princes Regent Swimming Baths

The Princes Regent swimming baths, at the foot of Regent-street, Ryde were built as the result of a community effort and opened on Saturday 8th October, 1932.  They were 210 feet by 45 feet and no less than 78 tons of filling was put into the baths to provide a sandy bottom.
