Ryde Masonic Centre
DESCRIPTION
The Ryde Masonic Temple, located at 142 Blaxland Road, was built in 1908 and dedicated by His Excellency Admiral Sir Harry H. Rawson, Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of NSW, on May 16, 1908.. The foundation stone was laid in May 1908. The Ryde Masonic Lodge, previously located in the Odd Fellows Hall and the Old Town Hall, moved to its current location at that time. The building's construction cost was estimated at £700 or £800.
