West Ryde Easter Celebrations, 2025
DESCRIPTION
The West Ryde Easter Celebration event was held on Saturday 12 April 2025 at ANZAC Park between 9am – 3:30pm. This family friendly event included a range of community performances, animal farm and pony rides, a variety of food trucks, amusement rides and a visit from a very special guest.
Among the many highlights of the day were three exciting competitions that showcased the creativity and talent of local children and performers.
- The Easter Bonnet Competition saw dozens of children aged 3 to 12 proudly display their handmade creations before a panel of judges. Sponsored by the West Ryde Chamber of Commerce, the competition was judged on creativity, uniqueness, and the use of recyclable materials.
- Artistic flair was on full display in the Colouring-in Competition, sponsored by My First Gym, with children between the ages of 3 and 12 showing off their colouring skills. Entries were judged across two age categories, with judges looking for creativity and originality.
- The crowd was treated to a range of vocal performances during the Singing Competition, sponsored by Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club. Talented contestants took to the stage, with winners selected in two age categories.
