Creator/PhotographerFluential StudioDate3 April, 2025DescriptionAddington is believed to be one of Ryde's oldest surviving cottages. It is unknown exactly when it was built but a survey for the National Trust reported that the first section of Addington was probably built between 1820 and 1830 and that both centre wings were in existence by 1841. Both James Shepherd and his son Isaac were owners of the property
