DESCRIPTION
In 2021, the City of Ryde Australia Day celebrations featured a modified program due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Key 2021 Ryde Australia Day Events:
Citizenship Ceremony/Citizen of the Year Awards: Held at 9:30 AM in Ryde Park, limited to invitation-only, alongside the Citizen of the Year award.
Battle of the Bands: Held at 7:00 PM in Ryde Park as a ticketed event (500 capacity) to determine the top three finalists.
Safety Restrictions: Strict adherence to NSW Government Public Health Orders was in place for all in-person activities.
