There are two sports fields (Eastwood Oval upper, and Eastwood Oval lower) and two playgrounds, both with new equipment. The lower playground near the library is more suited to younger children. Picnic shelters and barbeque facilities are available near the upper playground which is suitable for both older and younger children. The park is home to the annual Granny Smith Festival each October and more recently the annual Lunar New Year Festival held in February.
