The 2009 Granny Smith Festival was held on Saturday 17 October.
There were six stages for the day’s entertainment. These were the Trelawney Street Stage, the Plaza Stage, The Core, Singing Star Stage, Eastwood Oval Stage and the Roundabout Stage. Schools, churches, community organisations provided entertainment through the days. The alcohol and drug free event at The Core featured a Gladiator Dual, a mechanical bull and a chill out space.
280 market stalls as well as an international food fair, animal farm and carnival rides were also provided.
The concert at the Eastwood Oval stage on Saturday night was The Eagles Show: the songs that shaped the 70s. The fireworks spectacular started at 8 pm.
