The 2007 Granny Smith Festival took place on Saturday 20 October.
The Grand Street Parade which included 2000 participants began at 10 am. It included floats, marching bands, dancers, Granny Smith descendants, street performers, vintage cars, jugglers and clowns.
Kids could meet The Groovies and their mascot, Snappy the Shark or be entertained by Sparkles the Clown while teenagers could visit The Core Youth Zone
60 acts on 6 stages also included the Singing Star talent context.
280 market stalls were spread along the streets of the Eastwood Shopping Centre.
The festival concluded with a family concert: 'Don't dream it's over': a Crowded House/Split Enz Tribute Show followed by fireworks.
