(1) Council elections should have been held in September 2020 but were postponed to 4 September 2021 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. (Office of Local Government Circular 29 June 2020). They were further postponed until 4 December 2021 due to the escalating outbreak of the Delta variant of COVID-19 in the Sydney region. 2021 (Office of Local Government Circular 25 July 2021). The election was eventually held on 4 December 2021.

(4) Cnclr Laxale resigned from Council July 2022. He had been elected Member for Bennelong at the federal election of May 2022.
(5) Justin Li was elected to Council at a West Ward by-election held on 15 October 2022
(6) Due to the Christmas holiday closure, the election for the Mayor did not take place until January 2022. Cnclr Jordan Lane was elected Mayor for one year and eight months (until September 2023) at an Extraordinary council meeting on 11 January 2022. However, he chose not to serve his full term and an election for a new mayor took place at an Extraordinary meeting of Council on 13 December 2022
(7) Cnclr Sarkis Yedelian OAM was elected mayor for the period up to September 2023 at an Extraordinary meeting of Council on 13 December 2022
(8) Cnclr Sarkis Yedelian OAM was elected Mayor at a Council meeting on 26 September 2023 and retired from the position at the Extraordinary Council meeting on19 March 2024
(9) Trenton Brown was elected Mayor at an Extraordinary Council meeting on 19 March 2024
(10) Due to the Christmas holiday closure, the election for the Deputy Mayor did not take place until January 2022. Cnclr Roy Maggio was elected Deputy Mayor for eight months at an Extraordinary council meeting on 11 January 2022
(11) Cnclr Sarkis Yedelian was elected Deputy Mayor at an ordinary meeting on Tuesday 27 September 2022. This was for the period up to September 2023. However, at an Extraordinary meeting of Council on 13 December 2022 he was elected mayor, due to the resignation of Cnclr Jordan Lane as mayor
(12) Cnclr Shweta Deshpande was elected Deputy Mayor at a meeting on 28 February 2023.
(13) Cnclr Daniel Han was elected Deputy Mayor at a Council meeting on 26 September 2023
