(4)   Councillor Maha Melhem resigned on 31 January 2008. A by-election was not held as the resignation was 8 months before the scheduled Local Government Election

(5)   Cnclr Perram was elected Mayor at an Extraordinary meeting on 8 April 2004 for six months but his term must have been extended for a further 12 months as there was no Mayoral election on 14 September 2004 at the time there was a resolution for the Deputy Mayor to continue in her role
