(4) Thomas Bernard Beaumont was elected at the original count and was in office until 1 February 1969. As a result of a recount of votes, James Denis Donovan was elected for Central Ward and took office 1 February 1969. The first meeting he attended was the Special meeting of 3 February 1969. At that meeting there was minuted a letter of appreciation to T B Beaumont ‘for his attendance and application to duty whilst acting in the capacity of alderman with this Council. Various members of Council extended their congratulations to Alderman J D Donovan on his appointment to office.’
(5) Elected in Extraordinary election of 11 April 1970; replaced Ald. Daines who resigned. First meeting attended was the Special meeting of 20 April 1970
(6) Resigned, minuted Ordinary meeting 27 January 1970; replaced by H J P Clarke
