Granny Smith Festival, 2000

The 2000 Granny Smith Festival parade was held on Saturday 14 October.

Throughout the day there was non-stop entertainment, roving street performers, face painting and balloons, an animal farm and hundreds of market stalls, a circus playground, international food fair, children’s rides and, of course, an apple baking competition!

The day concluded with a family concert which featured the Family von Trapp, for the second year in a row, and fireworks at Eastwood Oval.
