The 1995 Granny Smith Festival was held on Saturday 21 October.
The procession started in Eastwood Park and travelled along Lakeside Drive, Glen Street, Shaftsbury Road, Rowe Street, The Avenue, Progress Avenue and back to Eastwood Park.
There were three stages for the day’s entertainment: Trelawney Street Stage, the Plaza Stage and the Eastwood Oval stage. Performers included the Ryde City Band, Macquarie Community Centre Line Dancers and Thami who performed African dance/music.
The day concluded with a bush dance and fireworks at Eastwood Oval where participants were invited to ‘bring your blanket and dancing shoes’.
