(4) Elected September 1909 due to an Extraordinary vacancy in East Ward Cumberland Argus 25 September 1909 p3; first Ordinary meeting attended 28 September 1909. Replaced Ald. Small
(5) Last Ordinary meeting attended was 25 May 1909. At Ordinary meeting of 31 August 1909 (adjourned to 4 September) it was decided that due to the non-attendance of Ald. Small for 3 months there should be an election. ‘An extraordinary vacancy had occurred in East Ward.’ Was replaced by John Nicholls
