Creator/PhotographerAngela PhippenDate Taken2013DescriptionThe original pumping station was built in 1892. The present Ryde Pumping Station was built on adjacent land. Its opening, scheduled for 1919, was delayed until September 1921. The old station ceased operating in 1930 and was demolished in 1961.
